Coach Katie Transue
Freshman/Novice

Coach Transue joined our staff in 2018 and she is also a former member of our program (EHTHS Class of '12). She and Coach Wray have helped develop many of our current varsity athletes and she has now seen some of her former rowers move on to become college rowers. Coach Transue has won several races as a coach, including Atlantic County Championships and medals at the New Jersey State and Philadelphia City Championships. Coach Transue was the Team MVP during her senior year at EHT. She led our Lightweight Four to the New Jersey State and Philadelphia City Championship gold medals that year and her crew also won gold at the Atlantic County Championships and rowed in the finals at the Stotesbury Cup. Coach Transue went on to continue her rowing career at Marietta College where she was a member of the school's Varsity Eight, winning a Dad Vail Regatta Gold Medal in 2014.
