Coach John Pope - Varsity Assistant

Coach Pope has been with the EHT Girls program for 17 seasons. He is an instrumental part of the staff, not only for his coaching expertise but also for his maintenance of our rowing equipment, and his strength program that we use throughout winter training and into the spring season. Coach Pope typically coaches our lightweight and JV crews during the spring season where he has seen tremendous success. In 2022 he led our Lightweight Four to a New Jersey State and Atlantic County Championship and he led them to the finals at the Stotesbury Cup and the Scholastic Nationals. He was also our Varsity Assistant during our Henley season in 2010.
